DR measures backlink strength, so spam links, link schemes and pages nobody visits can inflate it. TrueDR is a separate trust score from 0 to 100, and DR is never an input. It adds up evidence from link quality, linking websites, traffic and website age. Then it discounts spam, missing visitors and sudden bursts of links. When TrueDR sits far below DR, the headline score is thinner than it looks.
